Zach Burke – CV

I am a photographer from Canada (Brockville, Ontario). I have a background in photojournalism and have since returned to school – the Algonquin College Public Relations program. I have been covering professional and amateur motocross in Canada, independently over the last few years.

Last season I was able to embed with the MX101 Yamaha team and document their season. This was an incredible opportunity given the circumstances with COVID-19. The lessons I learned were numerous, when a team has 4 riders it becomes interesting trying to cover them all. ( )

The following links are some of my previous yearly recaps from past racing seasons.

My “Non-moto” portfolio

Currently full-time student (Public relations) and the founder of the “Roost Report” the web publication I created to publish my work – this is a project in its infancy and very much a work in progress.

Looking forward is dependent on the pandemic. Next season I will aim to spend another season with MX101 at a minimum. Telling the stories of the smaller teams and in general any team is a story worth telling for fans of the sport, very relatable content – this is something I want to focus more on.

2020 Year in Review

This is a selection from the 2020 race season. My selection of my best “conventional” photos from the track this summer. These photos are in no specific order.

The following galley has what I consider my “B-sides” from the past season. This would include some portraits, some pans and some stylized framing. These photos are in no specific order.
